Odd Cup - Sakura

Make your morning coffee ritual even more sacred with the Odd cup. Hand-thrown in our studio Kiosque ODD at Trøjborg. 
The cup is shaped by instinct, not blueprints. Made with stoneware clay and glazed by hand.

Sakura (桜) means cherry blossom - reflected within the glace you see a delicate light pink changere with the matte white, resembling the flower of a cherry tree.

The pink glace is made to highlight the floral notes within the coffee, and with a raised bottom pedestal to make it feel present in your hand. From the moment you lift it, drink from it and until you put it down.

It´s built for daily use, not to collect dust in your display cabinet. The Odd Cup will be your everyday cup, but still add a touch of luxury to your every life. The Odd Cup is our biggest cup, but with its beautiful roundness it still fits perfect in your hand. 

Each cup has its own mood. Some are a touch darker, some a little rounder. That’s what happens when real hands are involved. No two are quite the same – just like your mornings. Perfect for a big coffee, Latte, tea or whatever floats your boat.

We recommend hand washing your cup (your dishwasher will forgive you). Hand-thrown – variations in size and colour are part of the charm.
